Using BLINK
Make sure Bluetooth is on and your phone is close to BLINK. Close and reopen the app, then unplug BLINK for a few seconds and plug it back in. When the app asks for a code, type the code shown on BLINK’s screen.
Answers come through the app and need your phone’s internet. Check that the app is open and connected and that your phone has signal or Wi-Fi.
Open the app and pick a new character. BLINK switches faces right away.
Play music in the car and BLINK dances along, with different moves for different kinds of music.
Check that the USB cable is pushed in all the way at both ends. Some car USB ports only have power when the car is on.
Right now BLINK works with the free iPhone app.
Orders and shipping
Orders open November 10.
Shipping is free on every BLINK.
The 1.46″ BLINK ($59.99) has its own speaker and microphone. The 1.28″ BLINK ($44.99) is smaller and uses your iPhone for voice. Both have the characters, music mode and ride reactions.
Before you drive
Set BLINK up while you’re parked. Place it where it won’t block your view, mirrors or airbags, and keep your eyes on the road.
